Peter Jacobsen's Golden Tee Golf Review
This is a game that actually lives up to the arcade version. It's tons of fun and the options seem almost unending. I think the thing I liked most about the game was the fact that while you are playing, there is a lot of information on screen, such as which hole you are on, the par for that hole, which golfer is up and the stroke that they are on, plus all the usual info, like wind indicator, club indicator and the distance to the pin.
The graphics and sounds are unbelievably realistic and the camera angles are a bunch of help when you are trying to figure out which way to hit the ball. The instructions are well written, very concise and to the point, not a lot of mumbo jumbo that takes 3 days to figure out. There are several different games to play which include Strokes, Tournament, Speed Golf and my favorite, Bingo, Bango, Bongo (which is for muiltiple players only). The hazards, obstacles, other people and critters running around on the courses keep you on your toes!
With 12 custom designed courses, this game is sure to keep you swinging (figuratively speaking of course) until you can actually get out on the green to bash a few balls.
