Disney's Goofy's Fun House Review

Bookmark and Share Share | Digg! Digg This | Glink It Glink It

A scavenger hunt the entire family can enjoy. Goofy's missing items from the pictures hanging on the wall in his viewing room. You explore the house looking in each room and outside to help Goofy find the items. Once the items are found and placed into the pictures you get to watch a full length Goofy cartoon. There are also mini games that you need to play to collect items.

As you are looking for the missing items you are also collecting movie tins which will allow you to watch an extra movie if you have enough. There are three levels but the only difference in the levels is the number of movie tins needed to see the last movie. Some of the movements are awkward to maneuver. You must be standing in the right spot to open a door or push a box and this becomes frustrating. Goofy talks and gives you hints and the sounds in the game are great. The game is fun to play so you don't realize how time consuming it is but you can save your game and continue later. If you enjoyed Goofy in the cartoons just wait until you play the game!

Install: EASY

Gameplay: 9
Goofy is easy to move throughout the house. Under the options setting you can adjust the keypad the way you feel most comfortable with.

Graphics: 9
The graphics are great. It looks just like a cartoon rather than a game.

Sound: 8.5.
The sounds are good but some of the timing is off. Some of the sounds occur before they actually happen. The volume can be adjusted under the options setting before playing the game.

Difficulty: 8
Sometimes it is hard to get Goofy to do what you want because you have to be in the exact spot to do certain moves. For example, you have to be to the side of the door to open it not in front of the door and not too far to the side. Sometimes trying to find the right spot is frustrating.

Concept: 9
A scavenger hunt with Goofy is great. His clumsiness and goofiness gets giggles and smiles from all ages.

Multiplayer: N/A

Overall:
9
Goofy's Fun House is fun to play and enjoyable for everyone. The worst thing about the game is once you have found all of the items and watched all the movies there is no need to play it again because everything is the same.
